PRESS RELEASE
redi-Group expands its Langenfeld base
Company headquarters inaugurated / Three million euros invested / New jobs
Langenfeld, 29 April 2005. The redi-Group continues to expand. The provider of specialist quality-assurance and quality-management services to the automotive industry opens its new head office in Langenfeld, North Rhine-Westphalia. The company invested some three million euros in the construction of the 1,200 m2 building. Thirty-five employees currently work at the site, but the new building provides the extra space necessary to create new jobs for 90 people.
As Dieter Reitmeyer, founder and managing director of the redi-Group, said at the inauguration: “What we are investing in here is the future of our company. The redi-Group will continue to grow in the coming year and create new jobs in Langenfeld and at our subsidiaries.” In the last financial year, 2004 (March 2004 to March 2005), the company generated turnover of some 118 million euros with a worldwide workforce of 1,240 (650 employees in Germany). By investing and expanding, the redi-Group is clearly pursuing its consistent course of growth.
The redi-Group, which was formed in 1996, is made up of three main divisions: redi-Time, redi-Control, and redi-Engineering. redi-Time provides temporary staff to ease bottlenecks during output peaks, thus giving our customers greater flexibility; the staff of redi-Control take care of the testing, sorting and reworking of parts for component suppliers and redi-Engineering specialises in quality management and provides full breakdown and supplier-management services, including coaching, audits and the outsourcing of business processes. Customers of the redi-Group include leading automobile makers such as BMW, DaimlerChrysler, Karmann, Porsche, VW / Audi and also some 2,500 suppliers of components to the automobile industry. The company has its headquarters in Langenfeld and branches in Austria, Belgium and the United States.
